A population profile is a graph that shows how many people belong to a particular age group. The population profile above is hard to read but the left column represents age groups and the bottom column represents percentage of population. Furthermore the lighter blue represents the female population while the darker blue represents the male population. This chart could support studies that have shown that on average women out live men.
